Partner Family Program
"PARTNER FAMILY" IS A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE BREEDER AND THE FAMILY
THE REASON WE ENGAGE A PARTNER FAMILY:
THE SELECTED DOG IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL REPRESENTATION OF THE BREED WE WANT TO CONTINUE HIS/HER LINE IN OUR BREEDING PROGRAM.
I am a small breeder and do not have a kennel As per our township regulations I am only allowed to house 3 dogs in my home even though we live on a lovely 2 acre property. To continue with my program I do rely on Partner Families to give my breeding dogs a normal dog life in a family where they are loved and get to be happy well adjusted dogs.
As the breeder I will pay for the following on the Partner Family Pup:
- all breeding related health testing:
- OFA Hip, Elbow and Patella certifications
- CAER examinations with a vet certified ophthalmologist
If the pup is an exceptional representation of the breed I would like to Champion him/her in conformation shows with the Canadian Kennel Club as long as the family is agreeable.
I also love to encourage and support partner families who are interested in trying conformation or performance sports with the partner dog (e.g. agility, obedience, dock diving, sprinter, etc.)
Below is an example of a female and male agreement:
FEMALE PARTNER FAMILY AGREEMENT:
Health testing: 1-2 days and most likely just a few hours (at 2 years)
Breeding: approx. 1 week (after testing)
Whelping/Raise 2 litters: 6 weeks and partner family is welcome to visit. Webcam is in place for partner family to view at any time they wish.

MALE PARTNER FAMILY AGREEMENT:
Health testing: 1-2 days and most likely just a few hours. (at age 1.5-2 years)
Breeding: approx. 1 week and breeding will take place at breeders home or partner family home.

PARTNER FAMILIES will also receive a Snuggle Puppy.
SNUGGLE PUPPY - Snuggle Puppy is a behavioural aid designed to provide comfort and reduce stress-induced behavior such as whining, howling, and barking in young puppies when they are separated from their mom and littermates.
